Pool Service in Highland Village, TX

Bigger pools, heavier tree cover, and more equipment to look after. Highland Village pools need a bit more attention than average, and we plan for that.

Highland Village Pools

Larger pools, more moving parts

Built for the pools out here

Highland Village backs onto Lake Lewisville and Copperas Branch, and the combination of mature landscaping and larger custom pools makes for a genuinely different maintenance profile.

The tree canopy is the defining factor

Highland Village kept its mature trees when it developed, and the lots are big. Wonderful neighborhoods to live in, but the organic load landing in these pools is well above what a bare subdivision deals with.

Spas, water features, and automation

A lot of pools here have an attached spa, a waterfall or sheer descent, and an automation system running it all. More plumbing and more equipment means more places for a small problem to start.

Volume changes the chemistry math

A larger pool takes larger corrective doses and responds more slowly. Getting ahead of chemistry matters more here, because catching up on a big pool is expensive.

The Highland Village pool year

Heavier organic load, longer seasons at both ends.

Spring: pollen plus seed drop

The mature canopy means Highland Village gets pollen, catkins, and seed pods rather than just pollen. Filters here load up faster in spring than almost anywhere else we service.

Summer: heavy use and heat

These pools get used. Bather load consumes chlorine alongside the heat, and pools with attached spas and features have more surface area losing water to evaporation.

Fall: the heaviest leaf load we see

Between the mature oaks and the lot sizes, fall cleanup in Highland Village is substantial. Skimmer baskets fill within days, and a full basket means a starved pump.

Winter: more equipment to protect

Spas, waterfalls, and automated valves all add freeze exposure. There is more to shut down and protect ahead of a hard freeze than on a simple rectangular pool.

Highland Village pool questions

Do you service pools with attached spas and water features?

Yes. They need their own attention, since spa water heats and turns over differently and features add plumbing that can trap debris or freeze.

Should I add a second weekly visit in the fall?

Some Highland Village customers do during peak leaf drop, roughly November into early December. We will tell you honestly whether your tree cover warrants it, rather than selling it by default.

Can you work with my automation system?

We work around the common systems and will flag anything that looks misconfigured. We are a service company rather than an equipment installer, so major repairs go to a specialist, but you will hear about problems early.

Is a bigger pool more expensive to service?

Somewhat, mostly on chemical volume. We quote on the actual pool rather than a flat rate, and you know the number before we start.
